ABIKU (REINCARNATE)

Posted: September 21, 2013 in Uncategorized

The Atupa’s brightness reflects all over the room.
Yet Mama Abiku seems to be in total darkness.
Crying no more but sobering, all causes of the doom,
Caused by Abiku – the wicked child of the sorrow fortress.

Coming and going these several seasons,
Leaving parents in eternal torment without reasons.
Mother is getting tired, her milk getting sour.
And about to give up because of your wicked ways.

But here comes Abiku again with those knife scars
All over your body, a symbol of your first coming,
When many tongues that gladdened your presence with love,
Later gathered with tears caused by several mourning.

Stay if you wish and we will be happy,
Or follow where your evil spirit leads,
And leave this tired mother to be blessed with seeds.
Seeds that will gladden the heart of a tired mother.

WHAT DO WE STAND FOR

Posted: August 14, 2011 in FREE WRITING, Uncategorized

This post was inspired by my stay in the local area**ghetto** and am in a very frustrated mood when writing it cos many things was on my mind….Do not mind my grammatical blunders**gbagaun** for those who love and feel my post….And if you wanna capitalize on my grammatical blunder**gbagaun** for my beefers and haters—->sue me or better still, hug a transformer**in skilobo’s voice**

So I was wondering why our nation and its people had to be in darkness when a nation that partners with us in electricity celebrated a year without break in power supply**thhinking, many things on my mind**

Now this is what came to my mind first—-> for countless years now, we have been on the project of developing our power sector but always faced with one challenges or the other….Though am not good in calculations but according to my assumption, we would have spent countless millions**or billions** on the youth world cup that was hosted in our nation some years back….If am a little bit sane with my thoughts, the money pumped into tthat world cup would have done a little justice to our power supply**if it wont do it all**

Is it not vividly clear that our leaders lack the sense to direct or lead us?? Cos if they dont, how can you portay an image of beauty to outsiders when your people is sufferingof one of the best social amenities**total deception** Or has greed finally clouded their sense of judgement??

Mind you, this break in power supply is not every**only the poor suffer it** Its not rampard in those big areas like VGC(Victoria Garden City), Ajah, Lekki, and many other big areas**they dont suffer like us** coos they are the one that runs things in our society while we are the ones that do the dirty work**monkey they work baboon they chop**

These big names are those that make deals with those bringing light generator into our country**a product that is not used where it is made**….They take real big money before these products are allowed to be brought in….They earn big from that**millioaniares like that**

Now if you stop the producers of light generators from bringing in these products into our country, some people will get financially wrecked and instead of them to let us know they are unscrupulously looting us, they giving us hope for a better tommorow that they have no plan of giving us**lost hope**

Now the root of this problemis beecause we never agreed to be united right from onset….
Hausa, Ibo, Yoruba—-> we all see ourselvees in a different way, we dont care for ourselves, their is no bond of unity among us, we separate ourselves and thus, we have no say on what pain our leaders inflicts on us….They use the advantage of our dis-united feelings to slave us and turns us to their political zombies**we go anywhere they tell us to go, and do whatever they tell us to do** They steer our ship towards the seas of destruction….

We shall continue to suffer like this until we stand for our rights, until we show love for ourselves and until we feel for ourselves like brothers and sisters instead of been distant strangers….Until we know what we stand for….

Notice: This post was cut short by break in power supply**no vex** so I was not able to say all thats on my mind….Cant put on the light generator wasting a high cost petrol cos I wanna drop a post**nobody pays me for it o jare** So as usual, if you dont like the way I go bout telling the truth I tell, sue me or hug a transformer**in skilobo’s voice**

MEN IN BLACK

Posted: August 12, 2011 in FREE WRITING, Uncategorized

This post was inspired by my years of stay on the street with the so called men in black**you know who am talking bout**….I have been chanced to see some truths and I will drop this post due to my experience**oti pe gan lori titi oloda**
The truth I know they say is bitter but I will speak afterall cos that is what I have promised to do “speak the truth and slay evil”….If you think you are not satisfied with the truth am speaking, sue me or better still hug a transformer**in skilobo’s voice**

So I was just thinking how very interesting it will sound if the name of our men in black colud be changed to the “Roger Cops” How handsomely okay that name sounds**like a police T-Shirt**

For those who dont understand clearly what “Roger” means in the Nigerian language, ask Eddy Draire what “Roger” means….ROGER**as in N20 Roger**

I was in a minor hold-up**sukere fakere** yesterday(the hold-up lasted for 45minutes) and I was restless in the car cos nobody knows the cause of the hold-up until we got to the point where I saw our men in black doing their usual stop and search**collecting N20 Roger**….They had to leave their duty post and create another post for themselves all for the sake of this roger**egunje** and in the process formed a nuisance to disturb the lives of those they are meant to protect….They had so much passion to do the work at hand**collecting that roger** than passing the traffic and arresting the traffic offenders**arufin**

I hope am not the only one that hears many incidents of these men in black shotting civillians because they refuse to drop that N20 roger….Some of them even threaten civillians at gun-point**like omo bani ajagba’s** How come they love this N20 roger that they dont care bout their normal work????

Thats a question that has been bothering me until I got to know its not only one check point that collects this roger, its almost all the check point of the men in black that are entitled to collect that roger**what is the roger for????**

I did some little calculation and see why their passion for the roger is so strong, lets do a little sketch together—>                                               MEN IN BLACK—–>N20 From N1,000 Cars Per Day—->N20,000
                                                                         MEN IN BLACK—->N20,000 X 7—->140,000 Per Week
                                                                         MEN IN BLACK—->N20,000 X 31—->N620,000 Per Month
                                                                         MEN IN BLACK—->N20,000 X 365—->N7,300,000 Per Year….

Aint that a big revenue collection for our nation**if the men in black collects it for our government** but they dont do, they collect it for their own selfish reason….

So aint our men in black some f**king millionaires????

Everybody in this nation just wants to make a breakthrough from illegal looting which is not right….But who is to be blamed for all this???? Our leaders are corrupt**awon agba iya**

For our nation to move forward and progress, we need to check our root..

Notice: I speak the truth and dont care what you think bout what I write….I mention no names and my lines are like wet mud splitted by a moving bus**molue**….If you are affected by this post and wants to hold me responsible, sue me and if you cant do that hug a transformer**in skilobo’s voice**

STATE OF MIND

Posted: August 9, 2011 in FREE WRITING, Uncategorized

Am Writing this post due to provocation of what is happening around me….
Now my word is like a wet mud splitted around by a moving bus**molue** so if I eventually piss**tasi** you off with this post, you can’t do me nada cos I mention no names on my blog….Also,I dont care want English I use in writing this post cos am really in a frustrated mood….
If you cant correct it in your own mentality, sue me or hug a transformer**in skilobo’s voice**

So Nigeria is the “Giant Of Africa”….How enticing that name sounds….

I never understood the meaning of that “Giant Of Africa” until I started doing Literature and I never understood it deeply until I started doing Comparative Literature….Giants that lives under the shadows of itself**irony**

We are Giants and we cry for freedom after independence**omi inira**….We are Giants who works for almost all our lives**ise lago nse ku**and get paid the minor salary while some are somewhere**awon oga** working for few hours and getting paid big time….

We are Giants who live in penury**ebi ati ise**….We are Giants who live in abject poverty**no house nor clothing**….We are Giants that cry for food and get none while some are somewhere eating as they want**onijekuje** and even wasting the food when we are dying of hunger….

Recently, I heard some Giants crying over 18 thousand minimum wage**modern slavery** while those that don’t work at all get N180,000,000.00 for the renovation of their house**looting of government money**

If we are Giants, so what are those above us?? What are those that decide our fate?? What are those that decide what we earn?? What are those to whom we pay our tithe??

Sincerely speaking, we are no Giant but dwarfs**kukute**….We are no free born but slaves**omo eru**….

Since the independence of 1960, it has been programmed for us to work like Giants and live as dwarfs**kukute**….An ordinary councillor that sits in his office and does nothing get a brand new car when he leaves the cabinet while those that spends all their life in the service are killed by hot sun when lining up to reclaim their PENSION ALLOWANCE**owo ifehinti**

How can you slave a Giant in his own land and still call him Giant?? Is a Giant fit to be called a Giant when he is reduced to nothing in the midst of his fellow Giants??

Call us not Giants Of Africa for we are not….Call us the dwarfs**kukute** Of Africa cos that name fits on us….

We are still slaves**eru** which Giants cant be….So call us the Slaves**eru** Of Africa and leave us to the pain inflicted on us by our own blood….

NOTICE: Everything written in this post is my heart felt grief that has been kept in mind for a very long time till this day….Am letting it out today cos the frustration is getting too much and instead of speaking into the hole at the back of my house, I’d rather let my peole know how I feel….I speak my mind no matter what comes out of it so dont blame me if this post speaks bout you—->All you have to do is sue me or hug a transformer**in skilobo’s voice**
